Blog 73

Hello everybody sorry I've been away for a while but its partly because all the illnesses I have fought off over the last couple of years seem to have arrived at once so I've had multiple colds/stomach bugs etc.

This has been a bit inconvenient as for once I have been working quite hard - I am the new narrator of the children's TV series - Olive The Ostrich.

At the moment I'm in the studio every day recording masses of episodes surrounded by paper tissues and cough sweets. Olive is an ostrich with a highly developed imagination every time she sticks her head in the sand she pops up somewhere new and has a new adventure.

It starts broadcasting on July 22nd on Nick Junior.

Tour dates Here

Hi Jay, yes there's a couple of dates in the North West but we haven't managed to find the right venue at the right time in Liverpool but we'll keep looking though it might be next year now. Still tickets for QEH though Edinburgh is really selling fast. I'm on Jeremy Vine show this Weds talking about what makes us human and Radcliffe and Macconie on Tuesday on 6 Music.

Apologies for the inordinate amount of exclamation marks in previous post...been spending a long time on Facebook and caught the disease from American friends, along with overuse of LOL, LMFAO, DILLIGAF and PMSL. Sorry.

I still cannot listen to Sally Traffic(Radio2) mentioning Chertsey in her traffic report , without saying
Bolovski to myself.

Thanks for the show last night. Still chuckling about the Milibands. I have done you a poem to explain your 17 year absence from the stage.

There once was a comic called Sayle
Whose arms and legs he would flail.
He sold his new motor,
Dressed up in a boater
And rode round the world on a snail.

I'm not sure what to make of the ending of Weeping Woman Hotel. Particularly confused as to what happens to soup man and his wife but I suppose I'm supposed to be like one of those Sommerset Maughn things where the point is everyone's life is left in a soup swoop loop de loop

Milady was talking to me about this as I was driving her to Crewe the other evening.
I had read the novel to her while we were sitting in a jam on the M6.
We came to the the conclusion that 3 possible things happened. And they are
1.
2.
3.

I hope that helps.
Parker (for Milady peneolp)
